Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THEIR EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICENT on this day January 17, 2020 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of August. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am full-time DOD employee doing contracts for the Defense Contracting Management Agency. LOL, when my son was little I was stationed at Moriches Inlet on Long Island. My son was about 2 1/2 or 3 when we took him to the beach. He was playing in a few inches of water. Every few minutes a bigger than usual wave would knock him down and push him around some. After a while he asked me, "Daddy, how come the waves knock me down and drug me up?" You're post called up that memory ...

I expect that you have wonderful memories of cruising and/or sailing on the surface of oceans, great lakes and seas and for submariners cruising under the bodies of water, flying over the bodies of water and/or sunbathing on the coastlines or on deck Joe.
I pray that you and I treat each person we interact with well and that we are daily blessed by the LORD with compassion and grace, my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
Thank YOU, dear God for establishing the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers and bounding them with shorelines. At times YOU permit the bodies of water to be disturbed and break the boundaries of the shorelines. I am grateful that YOU have blessed people with technology and skill to identify and track sea disturbances such as tropical storms and hurricanes.
I pray for those people susceptible to sea sickness, car sickness and air sickness. Stabilize as many as YOU are willing and give compassion to each of those who travel with them.
I pray that more people heed the warnings of hurricane approaches. I pray that parents with children are learning to avoid living in areas subject to the risk of devastation and loss of life from hurricanes.
Thank you, dear God for blessing people with wisdom and common sense to establish building codes and enforcing them to minimize destruction and loss of life for hurricane’s, earthquakes and regional flooding.
I pray for each family who is living in areas prone to damage from hurricanes and sever weather near our Great Lakes, the southeastern and southern coastline of the USA and for those living on the coastline of Bangladesh as well as those impacted by the annual Monsoons in southern and southeast Asia which are impacted by the Monsoons.
I pray that people heed legitimate warnings and take appropriate action in enough time – especially the elderly and those with young children. LORD I pray that YOU protect the elderly, infirm, the homeless and the little children [who are dear to YOU heart] who are at significant risk for loss of life from water flooding.
I pray that YOU turn back the tide of evil so many have embarked on in this nation and around the world. I pray that YOU open the eyes of those drawn to evil and lead as many away to repent from their actions and desires.
I pray that YOU convict those people who are dedicated to increasing chaos – especially those fomenting for radical progressive socialism in our culture and radical Islam and Hinduism in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
Holy Spirit I am grateful that YOU dwell with the soul of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. YOU fight spiritual battles on our behalf and have given us defensive armor and the Word of God which is offensive and able to cut to the soul.
I thank YOU dear God for fighting the primary battles which impact us. I pray that YOU defeat the powers and principalities who are the root of evil over our culture. Give wisdom the sons and daughters of man to work for good and against the spread of evil at all levels in our culture.
I pray that the radical progressives in Congress who are rabid in supporting induced abortion and controlling every aspect of our lives including what is appropriate speech and even thoughts will be ineffective and confused and their legislative attempts to work against YOU will be defeated. Raise up wise legislators to develop reasonable and good legislation.
I pray for a dampening of tensions in Congress and a spiritual dam to block the tides to convict the President of this nation. I pray for wisdom for the Senate as they prepare for the trial and how they will conduct it.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Friday night.

Good morning Mikel and my friends on RallyPoint! May we all Remember Everyone Deployed. There are a lot of positive things about the oceans. There is also that other side, mysterious and sublime. I mean sublime as it originally meant - inspiring the awesome, something so great that it fills us with awe and fear. The oceans remind us of our smallness and its greatness beyond our comprehension. One of my favorite poems is Dover Beach by Matthew Arnold. So, let us all "...love, let us be true

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs Beautiful photos and thoughts. I grew up near the Atlantic Ocean and I knew her in her many moods, calm to very stormy. She was beautiful even when angry but I liked her best when I could swim or body surf in the water and feel close to the creator. The ocean is like life, always changing and always fascinating. We adjust ourselves to her ebb and flow; one reason I use ocean images in visualization and breathing exercises, just the thought slows down your breathing and thoughts and helps calm.

I expect that you have wonderful memories of cruising and/or sailing on the surface of oceans, great lakes and seas and for submariners cruising under the bodies of water, flying over the bodies of water and/or sunbathing on the coastlines or on deck Charlie.
I pray that you and I treat each person we interact with well and that we are daily blessed by the LORD with compassion and grace, my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
Thank YOU, dear God for establishing the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers and bounding them with shorelines. At times YOU permit the bodies of water to be disturbed and break the boundaries of the shorelines. I am grateful that YOU have blessed people with technology and skill to identify and track sea disturbances such as tropical storms and hurricanes.
I pray for those people susceptible to sea sickness, car sickness and air sickness. Stabilize as many as YOU are willing and give compassion to each of those who travel with them.
I pray that more people heed the warnings of hurricane approaches. I pray that parents with children are learning to avoid living in areas subject to the risk of devastation and loss of life from hurricanes.
Thank you, dear God for blessing people with wisdom and common sense to establish building codes and enforcing them to minimize destruction and loss of life for hurricane’s, earthquakes and regional flooding.
I pray for each family who is living in areas prone to damage from hurricanes and sever weather near our Great Lakes, the southeastern and southern coastline of the USA and for those living on the coastline of Bangladesh as well as those impacted by the annual Monsoons in southern and southeast Asia which are impacted by the Monsoons.
I pray that people heed legitimate warnings and take appropriate action in enough time – especially the elderly and those with young children. LORD I pray that YOU protect the elderly, infirm, the homeless and the little children [who are dear to YOU heart] who are at significant risk for loss of life from water flooding.
I pray that YOU turn back the tide of evil so many have embarked on in this nation and around the world. I pray that YOU open the eyes of those drawn to evil and lead as many away to repent from their actions and desires.
I pray that YOU convict those people who are dedicated to increasing chaos – especially those fomenting for radical progressive socialism in our culture and radical Islam and Hinduism in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
Holy Spirit I am grateful that YOU dwell with the soul of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. YOU fight spiritual battles on our behalf and have given us defensive armor and the Word of God which is offensive and able to cut to the soul.
I thank YOU dear God for fighting the primary battles which impact us. I pray that YOU defeat the powers and principalities who are the root of evil over our culture. Give wisdom the sons and daughters of man to work for good and against the spread of evil at all levels in our culture.
I pray that the radical progressives in Congress who are rabid in supporting induced abortion and controlling every aspect of our lives including what is appropriate speech and even thoughts will be ineffective and confused and their legislative attempts to work against YOU will be defeated. Raise up wise legislators to develop reasonable and good legislation.
I pray for a dampening of tensions in Congress and a spiritual dam to block the tides to convict the President of this nation. I pray for wisdom for the Senate as they prepare for the trial and how they will conduct it.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Friday night.
