Good Saturday morning Col Burroughs and Posse and congratulations to your daughter on her move. I am trying to convince my two remaining children in California to leave. Hopefully, they will do so one day (sooner rather than later)
Quality of Life. As a counselor this comes up frequently as a topic of discussion. What I find is that early on in people's adult lives they have problems with the work-life balance. Some tip much too far in one direction or the other. It is tempting to stay in one's comfort zone; if there are problems at home, stay at work; if work is unrewarding, avoid it as much as possible. Neither of these leads to a good quality of life in the long run. While the balance moves back and forth, day to day and perhaps even week to week, you cannot afford to ignore or favor one too much over the other for long term happiness, health and wellness.

I lift travelers, long-distance truckers, railroad crewman including engineers & brakemen, and hotel & motel employees & managers to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU prompt each one to take breaks from their travels/duties and enable them to rest sufficiently and travel safely and alertly. I pray for success for each traveler on business or pleasure or both. I pray that when their journey is completed, they are welcomed with open arms by loved ones. ‘He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. Psalm 25:9-10 ESV]
I pray for peace and joy for deployed service members and other deployed personnel, their family members and loved ones this month of February. I pray that YOU motivate good Samaritans to come alongside families in need and offer assistance without cost to the recipients. Holy Spirit YOU are the Comforter. I pray that YOU comfort distraught family members and lonely family members this night and each night of separation. ‘And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. [John 14:16-17 ESV]
I lift the elected leaders, appointed officials and judges throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, India, Korea, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless those who seek wisdom from YOU with wisdom to lead their constituents and discernment to recognize intent from those who lobby them. ‘Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. [Proverbs 9:9-10 ESV].
I pray that each adopted son and daughter of YOURs who is struggling with serious decisions, takes to heart your admonishment and that this brings comfort to each.

Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV 'Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

As far as the false prophets in pulpits, in business meetings, on the airwaves and in elected office, I pray that YOU sift them like wheat in YOUR perfect timing dear LORD. YOUR patience with these individuals allows them to have a chance to repent. 'What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory' [Romans 9:22-24 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
