I have always been of the MIND that the word in GODS word is stated with the spiritual level being above GODS angels, as HIS children. GOD has stated that HE is a jealous God, which tells me, along with, HIS son stating, I will never leave YOU, nor FORSAKE YOU. So for the Christian believer, WE assembled with GOD, have completed his will, by believing in HIS SON, therefor WE HIS children has been drenched in his sons blood, & because HIS children have obeyed OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, we are meek.. JOHN 3"16

Bless all who know HIM. When we as HIS children feels his spirt in our hearts, we must realize that it is HIM! THAT feeling will make one meek, but beautiful

Meekness is different from being broken in spirit, though the root word is the same. In some places in the Bible these words could be used interchangeably, but I like to see a beautiful distinction. Broken in spirit focuses on my sinfulness. Meekness focuses on God’s holiness.

In other words, I am poor in spirit because I am a sinner, and meek because God is so holy in comparison. Broken in spirit is negative and results in mourning. Meekness is positive and results in seeking righteousness. That’s the beauty of the sequence, of the progression in the Sermon on the Mount. First, there’s the brokenness, the tremendous sense of sinfulness. But there is no despair because you begin to see the other side of it. You see a holy God and begin to hunger after His holiness.

Just to show How Gods love leads His children to help others who know him, I was sitting in the Valet lane at the local VA HOSPITAL, when I look up & I see this elderly gentle man(*Iam 82yrs old)leaning on the side of this van, sweat dripping off of his forehead, in the HOUSTO heat its 95 degrees , or so. I walk my walker over to him, & I ask, MAY I be of assistance, SIR? He replied yes. please. I ask him to grab hold of my walker handles, & HE & I started the 75 yard walk into the VA HOPITAL. I ask How long did You serve in the NAVY,SIR? He replied 30 years, KOREA & VEITNAM. I am still in astonishment that this NAVY officer had no one to assist him into the hospital, That angered me to treat someone of that stature like that. THEY dropped HIM OFF at the CURB, HE had to walk over 100 yards on a cane. I want to make clear, this is certainly NOT about me, its what I saw, & now each one of us knows. WE made it into His appointment with time to spare, I THANK GOD FOR THAT! I can assure everyone, that had that been me, I think, I would at least speak to my doctor regarding that situation. like talk to my driver. HOW do I know if HE was a NAVY, Officer,, You damned right, I know! WE all know.

In meekness, WE(his children) can rise, and walk as in following HIS will for our lives.

PO2 (Join to see) PO1 H Gene Lawrence Easy, cheap way to listen to the Word: Go to https://www.biblegateway.com/. and put in a passage you want to hear read then click the little speaker on the page. A person will read it out loud. You can pick a voice depending on the version you use (KJV, NKJV, NIV, ESV, etc).
I get it going on my iPhone and listen at night or while I’m driving the car.
