Antiwar protestors take legal action in an attempt to prove that the Dow Chemical Company is still making napalm. Dow had claimed that it had stopped making napalm. Members of the antiwar movement filed suit against the Dow Chemical Company in a Washington, D.C., court. The plaintiffs were trying to force the company to disclose all government contracts to prove that the company was still making napalm.

*Imagine that. I never knew it was made somewhere else. We made it from scratch aboard the Enterprise. My GQ Station was the Napalm Mixing Room on the O-3 level. Mixed it with boxes of Ivory Snow Flakes and AvGas. had to mix it slowly the chemical reaction between the two as it jells creates heat and heat and AvGas is not a good thing. you watched the thermometer very closely. I almost took the label off the door when I shipped out since we had already broken down the mixing machine and shipped it out and were using the spaces at sea-bag storage. It was a blast to fill into blivits, it acted almost like it was alive. GOD help you if you got it on your skin though.
