Good Late Afternoon/Early Evening my RP Brothers and Sisters!
It is almost 5:30pm on the East Coast and time for another Late Afternoon/Early Evening Music Interlude! and For this Interlude, I have selected a song by Barry White and & Love Unlimited Orchestra - Performing "Love's Theme".... (This might be a two parter, since Barry WhIte does not sing in this song, but conducts his Orchestra, so I will follow this up with one of his deep voice songs just for comparison...)

Song background "This is a lushly orchestrated instrumental by Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra. The soul symphony was written and produced by White and became one of his biggest hits. With its strings and wah-wah guitar, the track had a significant influence on the Disco sound, which exploded in 1975 - a year after "Love's Theme" had topped the charts.
"Love's Theme" was released as an A-side single in December of 1973. The track was included on the Love Unlimited Orchestra's debut album Rhapsody in White (1974). The Love Unlimited Orchestra was a 40-piece orchestra formed by White to serve as a backing unit for him as well as for his all-female vocal trio Love Unlimited. The trio sang background vocals on White's songs and also recorded albums on their own. The track was also included on Love Unlimited's second album Under The Influence of… Love Unlimited (1973).
The track shot to #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on February 9, 1974, where it stayed for one week. On April 20, another Soul instrumental, "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)," also hit the top spot, this time staying for two weeks."
