"Political arguments are tough. Everyone is deeply entrenched in their beliefs, and overcoming that really is harder than scaling mountains. The only way to convince someone to change such a dearly held belief is with persistent exposure to indisputable facts.
If you’re trying to convince a liberal to move just a step to the right, here are some facts that can help:
The regions in this country that have been under the longest, deepest liberal control are by far the worst. California is the shining example. The state as a whole has some positives. California agriculture is impressive, and the economy is huge. But, the bluest cities in the state are in terrible shape, and everyone knows it.
Rampant homelessness, feces on the sidewalks, drug paraphernalia is littered everywhere, skyrocketing costs of living, violent crime and every other problem is making the major California cities nearly unlivable. That’s not to mention the smell that comes from the feces littering the sidewalks.
Topping all of that is a cacophony of diseases. Infections that should be easy to prevent are running wild in the streets of California, and children are dying.
