Thanks PO1 Tony Holland for sharing the sad news that "newly released Department of Defense data show Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia has received the most reports of sexual assaults among U.S. military installations worldwide for the last three years."

"In addition to Naval Station Norfolk, the Navy’s largest base, the Army’s Fort Hood in Texas, Joint Base San Antonio in Texas, Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, Naval Base San Diego, and the Marine Corps’ Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and Camp Pendleton in California have regularly received the highest tally of sexual assault reports in recent years."
It seems the coastal areas and Texas seem to be the base areas where sexual assaults occur and are reported.

There shouldnt be any PO1 Tony Holland. It is a despicable behavior, life changing for the women and men who experience it. I have always contended that if the military took away the Commander's prosecutorial discretion, they would have dealt with this problem a long time ago. I'm a Speedy Four and chances are I'll be hung out to dry but if I'm an E9 or O5, my problem might just go away.
