SSG Warren Swan - It always annoys me when we are compared to other first world countries in regards to firearms we are looked down upon and the world falls apart they call the gun toting Americans to save the day.

MAJ Byron Oyler - I'm not a big fan of it either. It takes broad stokes and wants to take those stokes and apply it to narrow strokes here. Every country on earth has illegal weapons, weapons that are used in crimes, but where we are different (IMO) is the reporting criteria, who interprets the information, how it's disseminated in LEO circles, and honestly how they report it to their citizens. The UCR is a joke for us being it's optional not required, so the data can/is debatable (as usual) since LEO's are not mandated to keep it up to date. There could be more or less violence depending on your slant and political agenda. I know nothing of other countries "UCR", so I think it would be stupid to use their laws as a sole basis to have us emulate. I don't even know if those countries even have something as robustly broken as our UCR, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did and as usual it's light-years "better" than ours. I've seen folks on here post knife murders in Japan, lack of gun violence in England and Australia, but there are other countries out there in Europe who still have laws allowing weapons. How come we don't copy France, Austria, Russia, Spain or any other European country to counter the argument or supplement the argument that "we need a ban on guns after looking at so-n-so's, countries laws? Every in this world has legal and more illegal weapons than they acknowledge....especially England after being stationed there myself.

When Europe can make a better breakfast than IHOP, I'll start taking their gun laws a little bit more seriously. English breakfasts and HP sauce are worse than MRE's or T-rats.

I Will Say that when I lived in London I did Like the Page 3 Girls in the Sun. Other than that is was like a Mix of the National Enquirer and FOX.
