This is the treatment I am receiving for my ongoing back and painful toes. After the second treatment, the center toes on my left foot were painful for 24 hours. The technician said it was because of improved blood flow in the damaged areas of my back area and created by the ‘Shockwave’ treatment. Thus far I am impressed. That it made my toes hurt for 24 hours indicated tgat something is happening..A painless treatment it only takes about 2 minutes. Unlike physical therapy,,I was advised to not ‘ice’ the treated area as ice would deter the increased blood circulation the treatment causes.. I’m supposed to be getting scheduled for a spinal implant trial for my ankle pain. I think I’d prefer shockwaves but that hasn’t been brought up by my doctors

Why not ask him? Recent PT and this Shockwave procedure seem to be helping my problems.
