Thanks for sharing Kim Bolen RN CCM ACM. Since I have been a cardiovascular patient since may 1995 and am the son of a heart transplant recipient, I have had many conversations with cardiologists and provided data with sufficient information for them to assess how changes in medications and new medications affected me.
I was warned to stay away from NSAIDS such as aspirin, naproxen, and the other blood thinning medications and told to only take acetaminophen [Tylenol] for over-the-counter pain relief. I take 1,500 mg of Tylenol with 1,200 my of Neurontin throughout the day per doctors instructions.
Thankfully the Beta blocker and Angiotensin II receptor blocker I take each day were not included.
