Thanks for sharing LTC Greg Henning
1. Stockpiling surface to air missiles and fighters
2. Peoples Republic of China (PRC) wants to have bilateral dialogue with each of the disputing nations as opposed to simultaneous, multilateral negotiations has been a hallmark of China in this "process."
Summary of the five points
a. PRC, Liberia, Cambodia and 70 nations support PRC's position against the UN tribunal ruling. Taiwan supports the 9 point line in the South China Sea which is one of the few points that PRC and the Republic of China agree on.
b. PRC not happy - Angry Panda - PRC may well use the response the USA had to the UN over 1986 US Contra-support - China may well Veto as the USA did then since it is a member of the Security Counsel of the UN.
c. UN concluded that there is no legal or historical reason to control the this share of the south China sea.
d. Military buildup - China conducted military drills.
e. $5T in shipping per year and underwater resources

That China Panda knocking over the shopping cart at Safeway was funny!
Its interesting, Sir, that Vietnam now allows ports of call, the Phillipines open up Subic Bay and other air and Army base for us to send our A-10s (Air Force, would your F-35 be able to do as much?) to protect the Phillipines. China, you crack me up with you selective hearing! I knew that Taiwan and People's Communist China agreed on somethingl I heard it on NPR and others here said I was wrong.
