City of Phoenix is paving the way in assisting victims of human trafficking with the opening of Starfish Place. The first of its kind, the city of Phoenix Housing department opens a 15 unit apartment complex to provide housing complete with all the essentials of daily living, for those who have been rescued from human trafficking. Tied with supporting systems like job core, maximus, life support such as job training, counseling and education systems. Means real opportunities turning the tables from victim to survivor and sustainable enjoyable lives as prosperous, tax paying citizens.

Hopefully those young women and men who have been human trafficked will not only have a safe place to stay but they will be able to have friends and completely recover from the trauma.
