It sounds like they are doing some good. I don't have a personal opinion about SFAB, but active duty Army folks I've talked to seem to think they're kind of, ah, superfluous. Not SF but think they are they say. Actually some of them said it's kind of a joke, but who knows. It looks like they are getting things done.

I think the best we can accomplish in Afghanistan is a legitimate government, people who support it, and a military with some teeth.
