After awhile, I find myself wishing all nations in the world would just grow up already, and just stop such childish nonsense, you know? I mean, the same drivel, on and on and on, has been bantered back and forth for millennia now by virtually every single country throughout history, I just find myself wishing the world would just simply outgrow sucjmconstwnt internecine and constant bickering, I mean, after awhile it just gets really, old, you know?

Don't get !e wrong, of course, I think China completely wrong, of course, however, they're, as I'd said on here, pure communist with a pseudo capitalist overlay, as Deng xiao Peng intended. That they're doing what they're doing is, given their history entirely to be expected, unfortunately. As I've also mentioned elsewhere on here, they're also in the drive to maturity stage socioeconomically, geopolitically, and militarily, just as Walter w rostow predicted in that fav macroeconomic classic I often tout on here, The Stages of Economic Growth, many thanks.

We armed Vietnam. Lets just sit back and watch. Remember, we're not the only nation with a stake in the area...

PO3 Donald Murphy - Vietnam is inviting us back to Cam Rahn Bay. Same with the Phillipines. We now have a few new bases to base A-10s. China does not like it. China started it. The World Court sided with the Phillipines. China is the bully so the nations around the South China sea want our influence and protection over a bully with an Aircraft Carrier and now a new island to bully its neighbors.

Of Course Not. We Have Two Old Friends who's Interests were looking out for in Japan and the Philippines and we have a Newer Friend in Vietnam (Embassy Opened in 1995). China is encroaching on all 3 and we support our Allies and Friends.

PO3 Donald Murphy - Can you imagine Walmart, target, Sears, Dolarama, Michaels, pep boys, chief auto parts and most stores in the strip malls all almost empty because we have an embargo on chinese made goods due to the war in the South China Sea? Apple would not have any new IPADs or I-Phones available because they lost their labor and factories made in China. Home Depots and Costcos empty. Internet sales would evaporate. Guys like me that work for UPS, Fedex and USPS would have nothing to deliver if this happened.

LTC (Join to see) - No I would envision that a Cold War with China and Tensions in the Area blocking import of Filipino, Thai and Vietnamese made goods and maybe that is part of the Problem the Chinese are feeling the Pinch from their Neighbors for producing the Products in Walmart, Target, Sears, Michaels and the Such. Maybe they are trying Militarily to scare off the Competition.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Chip, I never thought of that. Mexico and Central America could make up the slack in a few years if they did.

LTC (Join to see) - It would be a boom for them. Nature of Competition for those types of Products.
