It seems like thus is good news that the slow-moving turtle of the VA is inching closer to "ranting presumptive status for eight diseases associated with contaminated drinking water at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina" SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
It is rare that that the VBA moves to add service-connected diseases in anything approaching speed. I hope that the VA will move more quickly to resolve appeals and claims to reduce the backlog.
Once the backlog is resolved and staffing sufficient to work appeals and claims, then hopefully more knowledgeable people will be able to focus on the diseases which need to be evaluated for inclusion in the disability listings [for some reason Deadpool came to mind].

The VA & DOD et al have been resisting and denying any service related disability status ever since this first came out. Rather than advocate for the veteran and service member, our own government fights and resists with every bureaucratic means available. As someone stated 60 years; this is as bad as or worse than Agent Orange, PTSD, toxic trash dumps, etc. Shameful at best.
