We need a 'PC' that includes white people

Respect goes up and comes down.
It's not enough to be "woke" on certain issues but to be "awake" for all of them. To see crimes committed against White and Black people (and people period) as equally reprehensible and equally deserving of justice, to recognize that hypersensitivity is counter-productive and further increases racial divisions (doesn't mean to go running out into the streets hurling racial derisions but by respecting the fact that people are people, we all do stupid crap, and everyone gets "one") and that if you want respect you have to be willing to give it ALL THE TIME TO EVERYONE, not just when you want something or "when appropriate."

I gave up on balanced reporting from CNN long ago although they are light years ahead of MSNBC when it comes to balanced reporting SN Greg Wright. I have never been accused of being politically correct. My wife is Cuban and I have an adopted son is 50% Bolivian.

Greg, when one race has the ability to make decisions that can affect not only the minorities, but lower class folks as a whole, you will find that even they don't like those in charge....and they're the same race. I figure this: DO NOT say or do anything you cannot have done or SAID to you. It's a simple golden rule that gets twisted to suit the speakers audience. Blacks are the ONLY race in the US that has been snatched out of their homes, lynched, killed by other means, yet expected to put some kind of effort into building this country. Blacks and Mexicans who seem to always be told "don't like it leave". But you are an immigrant yourself; why is it on me to leave and you don't? I actually had to drop a FB vet page over that, and it was in this case a straight up attack on blacks. Nothing hidden and no play on words. Blacks are also the only race still here that was promised reputations. When folks see this the first thing heard is "you weren't there and I'm not going to pay for something I did not do". Then you'll hear "we freed you in the Civil War". No the fuck you didn't. "Why are you so hyped up on this reparation thing"? 241 years of trying to "assimilate" with the Borg. 241 years of being told you're not good enough to be with the white man. 241 years of finding some reason to make sure we know "our role" in the pecking order. Can anyone else name a race that was killed just for looking at a white woman , let alone talking to her? I'll wait. Every single other race NOT Nationality, who was displaced was given something in return. Not us. 40 acres and a mule. Keep the mule make it a pool and lets go. Can't do that. It would mean the government would have to acknowledge they did promise it, and that the government didn't hold up their end of the deal. I would also hear that we weren't the "only" ones that were slaves. True, but your race wasn't enslaved, certain people were either indentured servants, or actual laves. Japanese Americans were raped and sent to intermittent camps. When the war was over and they were released, the government PAID them and helped them get on with their lives. Imagine if that same courtesy was given to the slaves? I know what would be said; "You weren't there, neither was I, so I don't owe you shit". Weird. The Jews that were in those camps and survived? None of us were there then either, yet people are STILL hunting down Germans who killed, set up the killing, and in some cases doing business with companies who were working with Hitler in WW II. The Jews were rounded up and many millions killed. It's known as the "Holocaust". It WAS a holocaust. How many slaves were killed and not a single fuck given? Numbers are not that far apart, but no one calls it a Holocaust. That's a designatetor ONLY for Jews. Benjamin Banneker designed DC as we know it after a white architect who was originally given the contract bailed. 10 square miles of the Nations Capitol was designed by a black man. Has anyone seen a statue of him anywhere? To add to that, he had to do this feat by memory and no original plans. Yet many have no clue.

There is no fucking way all white folks are racist. I won't accept it. There is no fucking way all blacks are on EBT. I know I'm not. There are whites who freely acknowledge the past and can articulate it in a manner that doesn't disrespect anyone, and includes the faults of everyone involved. THAT is what is needed. Stop making excuses to back out of a situation that you are uncomfortable with (ahem Ben Afleck finding out his family owned slaves). And stand and be counted. Not all of the ills plaguing the country were done by whites. Minorities need to own up to their end also. Does it need to be PC......no. Just be open with this. Stop telling me to "get over it", and maybe try to understand it from a different perspective like the CSM did with me on the stars and bars banning last year. If you don't want to understand, them maybe YOU actually have a severe case of "White guilt", and find it easier to insult, degrade, and blame others for your insecurities.
