Thank you my literary-friend SGT John " Mac " McConnell for sharing a word associated with Ass Saints Eve which was morphed in Halloween in some cultures.
Since Creighton Tull Chaney known by his stage name Lon Chaney Jr.,acted as a werewolf in the 1941 movie Wolf Man, in modern times, werewolf's, vampires and zombies have become all too common in books, TV and movies.
I enjoyed reading Herman Hesse's Steppenwolf as a young. I used to howl at the moon on occasion after I was drinking by bonfires in the early 1970s. Llycanthropy may be legendary but it is wonderful lore IMHO.
Once upon a midnight dreary, I observed a looney toon where leaping lizards and lying lions cavorted with wily-wolfs and leotard-clothed leopards. All at once a human form emerged - or so it seemed as this form writhed and caterwauled until it assumed the form of a werewolf.

There is a once a month pill that can control those fleas, but never have been able to control going out to howl at the moon every now and then :-)
