Since trust is something that has to be earned between people, is it also something that must be earned by God? Does he get a free pass?

Cpl Robert Russell Payne I read the responses and my heart chilled. Jehovah GOD is Sovereign. My faith, he does not earn anything, he does not get a pass. In HIS Sovereignty HE made HIS son a gift to man as a sacrifice for our sins that we may get a pass. Then HIS son Jesus ascended to Heaven alive and not dead ad the King of kings and Lord of lords; Jesus the Christ. Of the comments that have been made, which one has the power to forgive sin or deliver us from the shadow of death called COVID-19? Earth is under the rulership of satan. Until the return of Jesus with his Army in Armegeddon to defeat satan and restore the Earthly Paradise, satan will dispense chaos, sickness, and death.

Cpl Robert Russell Payne I think you misunderstood me. Jehovah GOD is Sovereign; HE is the free pass. This is my belief according to the Christian scripture teachings. I was mad at GOD just last night, really mad. I said "why the hell does he not hear me". In summary, my mother said, would a mere human question GOD. Jehovah created me, not me HIM. I look at it this way, as a child my parents did not have to earn anything. I am the child of The Living GOD. Will a man curse GOD?

PO1 H Gene Lawrence And according to the Old Testament he did exactly that if he didn't get his way. If he couldn't win then he rigged the game. As Jacob about the wrestling match. Jacob won the match but God is such a sore loser that he had do something that at the very least would be considered unethical.

He has to prove he exists, first. Then there needs to be an explanation for all of the bad stuff he supported or ordered in the Bible.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - because god, in your holy book, supports slavery. It relates stories of genocide at god's orders, with the exception of virgin girls, who are to be given to the Hebrew soldiers. If a rape victim doesn't scream loudly enough, then she is to be put to death. Or, she may be forced into a marriage with her rapist. The sacrifice of a human, as some form of scapegoat, is required to redeem the world. Do you need me to go on?

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - that's called begging the question, and is a fallacy. Please show me evidence that something or someone "controls" the universe. Without that evidence, I see no reason to believe that the universe is under the control of anything.
As far as how I got here? I come from homo erectus, from about 1.9 million years ago, through intermediate species until we reached h. sapiens. Or do you want me to go back further?
