Good “R.E.D Friday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader!!! I don't envy you with a snow storm coming your way with 1'-3' of snow mounting up! Yikes!!! The only thing to do is to "Move Forward" and leave the snow behind! BTW, 66° here in SW Florida, heading up to about 82° this afternoon with 74% humidity and wind ENE 8 mph... (I couldn't resist... I once loved snow but now, not so much! LOL!)

I hope those you are responsible for, are following your lead because you demonstrate steadfast character and are you willing to stand up for them especially if those you answer to are opposed to your stance. I expect you have demonstrated moral courage on behalf of others at times. Although it is painful at times, we know that YOU are pruning us as a gardener prunes trees to make us healthier and more fruitful. ‘we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. I pray for wisdom, discernment and endurance for parents and their school children especially those who have been restricted from attending school in class. I pray YOU do what it takes to change the focus of administrations which support teachers’ unions over teaching children. I pray YOU release the whirlwind of infection on each group that is opposed to letting school children go back to school. Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. And let's remember everyone deployed in our prayers today
Moving forward is something we all need to do. I had a group of Vietnam vets the other day and one of them talked about this. He shared that when he revisited the past for too long at a time, he tended to get mired there which was unfair to his spouse. He said, he was doing his best to move forward with faith that whatever was coming would be what God intended. I appreciated his share and then I found this quote...;.
Now if we could all just do this with grace...what a much better place we'd be in.

I lift the overseas-deployed service members; police, federal & state agents; detectives and investigators and their family members to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU guide the mind of each and their hands and feet of each service members and police/agent to lead them to their objectives and enable them to interdict, surveil, kill or capture as appropriate. I pray that YOU empower their loved ones to be secure and safe throughout the duration of deployment and long after they have reunited. 'I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.' [1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV]
I pray that YOU bless responsible and mature leaders with wisdom and insight to know when to move forward, when to move around or over, when to pause operationally, and if necessary when to back up and allow others to take the lead. ‘The simple man believes every word, but the prudent man watches his steps. A wise man fears and turns from evil, but a fool is careless and reckless.’ [Proverbs 14:15-16 ESV]
I pray for each adopted son and daughter of God who reads this prayer that our character is impeccable and that we trustworthy and prudent. LORD thank you for sanctification. Although it is painful at times, we know that YOU are pruning us as a gardener prunes trees to make us healthier and more fruitful. ‘we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. [Romans 5:3b-5 ESV]
I pray for wisdom, discernment and endurance for parents and their school children especially those who have been restricted from attending school in class. I pray YOU do what it takes to change the focus of administrations which support teachers’ unions over teaching children. I pray YOU release the whirlwind of infection on each group that is opposed to letting school children go back to school. I pray that a significant number of families will abandon public schools for home schooling and private faith-based schools. ‘But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.’ 2 Timothy 3:14-17 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Friday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Saturday morning.
