What Post/Base/Camp did you go through Basic Combat Training at and how old were you?

Sir, Was it on Bliss at McGregor Range, NM?

CSM (Join to see) - We started and ended basic training at the Logan Heights area on Fort Bliss (which is now a housing area). However, during the middle of basic training we conducted a two-week desert phase at McGregor Range.

Why twice?

SGT(P) (Join to see) - got out after first enlistment. When I went back in in 2011, I reclassed to 11B and went to Benning for OSUT. Being prior service I got to go to a company closest to AIT phase. However I reported in January, all cycles either graduated prior to Christmas exodus leave or picked up in AIT phase after exodus leave. So all cycles closest to AIT phase just picked up. After reception and I got to my Company, I found out they were in day 5 red phase. So I had the lovely time of calling my wife and telling her that my orders got changed from 6 weeks to 14.

OK BCT twice! Well I have never been to AIT, so I should not question it.
