Perfect, I remember Moonlight Serenade well. I can remember my mom and dad dancing to it. Thanks for the memory.

Glenn Miller is my favorite of all the big bands, Sgt (Join to see), and Moonlight Serenade is his signature song, of course. His sound was unique in that the woodwinds played a much larger role in the creation of the sound, whereas most bands had the brass as their primary sound.

Thank you my friend Sgt (Join to see) for posting the music video of the Glenn Miller Orchestra performing his wonderful tune "Moonlight Serenade" in his honor posthumously.
U.S. Army Air Corps Major Glenn Miller died while flying on a military flight [ UC-64A Norseman] from London [Bedford] to Paris on December 16, 1944 at sea en route - the plane and the occupants were lost at sea.
Rest in peace Glenn Miller.
