I realize I am not a geologist but to me that rock looks a whole lot newer than the surrounding rocks. Not smoothed over like older Mars rocks that I saw. That suggests that Mars is being hit from time to time. What do you think?

I am sure that Mars is hit by numerous space debris from the steroid belt and beyond, as it's atmosphere is so thin & it's magnetosphere is weak compared to Earths...
