Thank you my audiophile friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of Lynyrd Skynyrd performing Sweet Home Alabama live in 1974 in honor of the death of Lynyrd Skynyrd rock musician and guitarist Edward "Ed" King on August 22, 2018 at the age of 68.

It is well know that this song was a musical response to Neil Young's Southern Man which was released in 1970 on the LP After the Gold Rush.
I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd perform in Evansville, Indiana in mid-1975 while I was stationed at Fort Campbell.
