This is but a snapshot regarding Elon Musk, but this video comes from within this man's soul, something unexpected, in my view... He has a vision, perhaps we may understand that He is a "Visionary"... The world needs "Visionaries" and there many of them around the world, living in their own worlds of thought... This video is about his vision and what He believes, sees, thinks, plans, and executes his plans... His vision has changed the world of rocketry in many respects, including how to launch and return a rocket to either an ocean-based platform or a concrete landing pad... Further, He is and has changed the way we send astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS) and has a vision of how to get us to Mars to establish a Mars-base and is in the process of implementing his plan...
I know this is an over simplification, on my part, but it is real, it is happening, and the Earth is rapidly reaching a saturation point regarding the numbers of humans in the world... More babies and longer lives... We need a place to migrate to, off our Blue Marble and perhaps Mars, or perhaps Venusian bases in the upper atmosphere... Science fiction, right? Not really, the capability exists...perhaps not all the pieces of the puzzle, but enough to get started...
Whatever your thoughts are on this, I urge you to at least listen to what Elon Musk has to say...
I'd appreciate any comments you may have either for or against...

Perhaps Elon Musk may be dead within the next 12 years :-) This post reminds me of the harbingers of doom dating back to before our own Civil War. The Millerites were followers of the teachings of William Miller, who in 1831 first shared publicly his belief that the Second Advent of Jesus Christ would occur in roughly the year 1843–1844."
We know that at the end of this age, all of creation will be destroyed by fire along with anybody and everything left at that point. 2 Peter 3:11-13 ESV "Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."
The Bible has a number of texts which tell us how to test visionary prophecies.
a. 1 John 4:1-3a ESV 'Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God."

Very interesting presentation Sgt (Join to see) The issues Musk brings up have been brought up by others so they are not as "far out" as some might think. As we know, science fiction is often a precursor to science reality just think Jules Verne as one example. I, for one, fully support an expanded space effort and applaud visionaries like Musk that are doing something about it.
