Thank you my friend and brother-in-Christ LTC (Join to see) for posting the perspective from foxbusiness.com from economist Larry Kudlow [Fox News Business Sirius Channel].
I concur with you and Larry Kudlow that the mid-term losses were not former [and perhaps oneday again future] POTUS Donald Trump.

"So, Donald Trump is scheduled to speak tonight, at 9 p.m. Eastern. His staff is calling it a campaign event, with an announcement. Most folks think he's going to announce his presidential candidate for 2024.
I don't have any wisdom on what kind of announcement it may be. Could be an exploratory committee. I don't know. But here's something that I do know: the wave of blaming the former president for disappointing election results is vastly, vastly overrated and oversimplified by a lot of folks who really never liked him in the first place. This includes, disappointingly, a lot of conservative editorialists. Now, laying my cards on the table. As I've already said, I would prefer any presidential announcements by Mr. Trump to wait until after the Georgia runoff. From a power-sharing standpoint, Herschel Walker's race is very important and I fear Mr. Trump might be a distraction.
But I don't know that, and neither does anybody else. Herschel Walker himself has invited Trump to come and campaign for him and it is Herschel's campaign. So, the "Trump should stay away" mantra may not hold up at all, may be completely wrong. Who knows? Indeed, maybe Mr. Trump would rally people to vote heavily. In fact, I think he ought to tell people to start their mail-in ballots immediately. Don't stop! Republicans have to learn how to play this game too.
An interesting Trump defense, by the by, on this point and others in The American Conservative magazine by Senator-elect J.D. Vance, J.D. argues that the GOP underperformed for two reasons: not enough money, especially at the grassroots level, and the party’s been outfoxed by Democrats concerning mail-in ballots and harvesting. Republicans desperately need their own mail-in ballot harvesting get-out-the-vote operation desperately. But that has very little to do with Mr. Trump, that's a party machinery issue, state by state and Vance says that that is not Trump's fault."

LTC Stephen Ford I have no real answers for what happened. I will say republicans have the uncanny ability to snatch defeat out of thin air.

LTC Stephen Conway I will say the Republicans in Congress have possibly the worst leadership group. McConnell and McCarthy seem to want republicans to be the minority party.
The supposed Commitment to America was a muddled mass of platitudes and no one but McCarthy can cite one thing named in it.

I didn't know how McConnell screwed things up. I had seen how others here on Rally Point had said so but I didn't realize that 17 Republican Senators voted for 2 trillion dollars in inflation causing bills. At least we can say that we have attained a majority in the house with 218 votes so gridlock and no more stupid green new deal, no more 87,000 IRS agents and hopefully no more destruction of our economy by this stupid president, the stupid vice president and woke idiot Democrats who use the term Democrat in name only. The Democrats used the legal ballot harvesting and get out the vote and pretending that we're going to turn into the man in the High Castle Nazi Germany Republicans. The scare tactic worked and now Democrats want to Fast Track 15 million illegal aliens to be American citizens so they can have a supermajority like they do in California. Hopefully, not on our. Also, Democrats are so worried about our population that they want illegal aliens to help bring the population up but they care more about abortion and dying than about living.

It is true that Democrats care more about un-americans illegal aliens than about Americans.
My belated mother came from Honduras in 1959. She had a master's degree and she applied legally at the US Embassy in Tegucigalpa. She had a sponsor but she hit the ground running working at a United Way agency as a caseworker dealing with illegal aliens all the way up to vice president of the International Institute of Los angeles. She then left the organization and continued to do immigration casework at a fraction of a cost of what a shyster attorney would charge. She retired and stopped doing this after the supposed Immigration Reform Act under President Reagan. But like Democrats have done lately, they kick the door open and they claim they want a fast track citizenship but they are globalist and they don't believe in the nation state. Dennis Prager was right!
Remember, a leftist will not negotiate with you. They are almost like the b o r g of star trek. They just want to assimilate you and make you part of them. A liberal, that's a different story. A liberal believes in the nation state, a liberal believes in making money, a liberal like JFK and President Clinton believe in lowering taxes to Spur growth. A leftist, different story! They believe in raising taxes, they don't follow proper economic theory. They don't believe in the nation state and they believe that everybody is inherently racist. Dennis Prager has been my go-to video and leftists on Raleigh Point come up with some stupid thing saying he belongs to some Christian cult when he's Jewish. Even Dennis Prager likes saying Merry Christmas Even though he is jewish. He doesn't believe in saying happy holidays or some other stupid shit.

LTC (Join to see) Unfortunately your view of what our country needs is out of touch with reality. Strange how inflation is now trending down after 2 trillion in what you term inflation causing bills, the green movement is creating jobs at record levdls in emerging technology, and those 87,000 IRS agents provide less than one agent to the 600,000+ IRS offices nationwide that already understaffed. Your majority in the House is a joke since they have no intention of governing. They are already only talking about retribution for the perceived harmful things done by the Biden administration and not put out one thing to curb the inflation or immigration issues they claim are so horrible. Put up or shut up and so far that 218+ majority hasn't indicated a single thing that would help our country.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Your view is not supported by what's going on. Amazon is now laying off 10,000 employees and Roku just announced they are laying off 300 employees. Yes, things are going swimmingly in your worldview.

I can understand blind loyalty, but Kudlow needs to get out of his hole and smell the air. Every loser subscribed to Trumps theories and voters across the nation rather adamantly stated that they disagree with those theories. Combine that with the fact that many of the candidates weren't qualified to be school crossing guards, let alone representing their constituents.

Blind? 195 Trump-backed candidates have won their races, only 30 have lost. His crowds at their rallies were 10x more than any democrats rally. 74% of voters who left the polls said the country was headed in the wrong election. Something smells bad alright.
