Thanks for reminding us SP5 Mark Kuzinski that despite the valiant efforts of Cambodian Prince Norodom Sihanouk to maintain a peaceful balance between the communists and the collation fighting in Vietnam, Cambodia fell to a coup in 1970.
By 1971 the Khmer Rouge were making serious gains. Their ruthlessness knew no bounds. Of course the world did not recognize that until much later when the Killing fields were revealed.
