Thanks for honoring US Army Chaplain (Major) Charles Watters SP5 Mark Kuzinski who was awarded the Medal of Honor as he served with the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry of the 173rd Airborne Brigade when it conducted an attack against North Vietnamese forces entrenched on Hill 875 during the Battle of Dak To.
Chaplain Watters demonstrated valor above the call of duty as at least six times he left the defensive perimeter with total disregard regard for his own personal safety to retrieve paratrooper casualties and take them for medical attention.
Kudos to Chaplain (Major) Charles Watters.
