Their continued success is highly dependent on the success of their economy. Fortunately for the US, we are decoupling our space exploration from government funding as we prepare to make it profitable. I can't see the Chinese ever doing that so long as they embrace a controlled economic model. And, if their shenanigans continue to get them into trouble with their trading partners (notably US), their government funding may not be able to continue their space program at its current pace.

Excellent comments, CPT Jack Durish! As I found out after posting this, China deorbited their first Space Lab Station Tiangong-1 and it burned up on re-entry... They also successfully deorbited their TIangong-2 Space Lab Station in July 2019 and it was brought down in the South Pacific... The TIangong-2 was the Space Station in the Video I posted... It would seem like the reliability of their Space Lab technology is not the best...
I am in the process of covering a video that discusses China's Space Station Ban from the ISS and what China is currently doing... I believe it is important to cover what our rivals are doing in space as the first to establish a functional manned base on the Moon could have dire consequences for the Earth if the wrong country is successful...
