Thanks for letting us know PO3 (Join to see) that the paradise island of Indonesian Island of Bali has evacuated over 120,0000 villagers living around the simmering volcano threat of eruption at Mount Agung. The villagers have been evacuated to temporary shelters, sport centers, village halls or to the homes of other relatives. While officials are advising residents and tourists not to come within a 12-km (7.5-mile) radius of the volcano.
"Mount Agung last erupted in 1963, emitting an ash cloud as high as 20 km (12 miles), the Associated Press stated. Roughly 1,100 people were killed. During this eruption, ash reached Indonesia's capital of Jakarta, which is located about 1,000 km (620 miles) away.
If the volcano erupts before Wednesday and a similar ash cloud is produced, the expected winds would direct it initially southwestward away from the volcano over Bali and then to the south into the Indian Ocean."
Thanks for mentioning me SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

Hopefully they can evacuate the people to an even safer distance if the volcano does blow.
