House approves concealed-carry reciprocity, gun bill faces challenge in Senate

I am lucky, as a retired LEO, I can carry in every state. However, I believe that everyone who meets the qualifications should be allowed to carry as I do. Hopefully this bill will help.

Id be shocked if it makes it through, but I'm hoping it does. Tired of living in Indiana and visiting my wife's family in Illinois and not being able to carry.

Thanks for sharing the news Alan K. that the United Stated House of Representatives has approved the concealed carry reciprocity bill which would allow those with a concealed carry permit to legally carry a concealed weapon they have a permit for in the all other states.
This bill faces an uphill battle in the Senate IMHO - without Al Franken the odds may well improve.
