Perseverance drops Ingenuity helicopter on Mars! First Pics

In an unexpected move by NASA's Mission Control, they provided the command sequence earlier today (Saturday, April 3, 2021) to drop the Ingenuity Helicopter 4" to place it solidly on Martian soil!!! This was confirmed by NASA... Nasa has also stated that the earliest flight attempt will be no sooner than April 11th with data received on Earth on April 12th... Of course, with all the excitement drawing attention to Ingenuity, maybe it will be sooner... Stay tuned for more!!!

Making progress, but need to remember that for NASA waiting days once a vehicle is on the launch pad is nothing unusual. The 11th is only 7 days away!
