Thank you, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the music video of Sierra Hull & Highway 111 covering an old Bill Monroe tune "Old Dangerfield" at the Mockingbird.
"For those of you who are still wondering, it is a Weber octave mandolin. Search for Sierra Hull and octave mandolin on YouTube and there is a clip of her playing and then describing the instrument. It is tuned one octave below the regular mandolin. They are fun to play and sing with. It has nearly the same range as a guitar except the low string only goes down to the G and not an E. The mandocello has the voice of the cello (violoncello), and so the low note is a low C, a fifth below the low G of the octave mandolin."

Very lively and entertaining.
