No doubt you have significant influence on those you lead and who rely on your judgement. YOU are the source and embodiment of truth which is absolute and unequivocal. I pray that YOU use each of to demonstrate YOUR Word, with grace and respect to individuals on genuine quests to seek truth. Enable us to be humble and trustworthy witnesses for YOU. ‘I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. [John 17:15-17 ESV]
I lift physically and emotional dispersed families and groups of friends to YOU LORD. I pray for a large measure of love and compassion for the spiritually mature. Let YOUR light and love shine to and through us to draw together individuals who have been insulted accidentally or purposefully to reconcile with those who they think is the source of the problems. Give each of us grace to remind people including ourselves that we can only change ourselves with any hope of success. As we change for the better that helps others to relax. I pray for a significant increase of humility, confession, repentance and forgiveness throughout the body of Christ. After all, all have sinned and by God’s grace we are each saved. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister. COL Mikel J. Burroughs - My wife got to ride with me through the McDonald's drive through for breakfast. In my defense-
a) she absolutely loves sausage/egg/cheese McMuffins, and
b) she got a card with three pictures of Ben Franklin, so I am not quite as cheap as it first appears, and
c) we picked up plenty of McChow and went home, sat on the floor, and shared with the dogs.
