It is: “Momentum Day!” And just what is Momentum and why it is important!
Definition of momentum: Broadly, it is a property of a moving body that determines the length of time required to bring it to rest when under the action of a constant force or moment. Now that is not as clear as one might like, so here are a few quotes that might provide some insight!

Often we start out with the best of intentions. Then we lose focus and we stop pushing. If you remember that it takes less effort to keep a good project going perhaps you can find the energy to encourage yourself and others to keep it up. Motivation counts for nothing if the forward movement stops. Work to make it a habit and it will almost fuel itself!

I pray that the LORD blesses each of us with discernment to assess our own capabilities and limitations as leaders and as servers/subordinates including family relationships. Do what is necessary for each of us to be trustworthy and motivated servant leaders of those who place their trust and love in us. 'Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.' [Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV]
I pray for sufficient endurance and momentum for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters, dear LORD, to persevere and enable others to persevere through the spring into the summer. I pray that each leader who reads this prayer is focused on service to achieve our corporate and individual goals as a servant leader as modeled by the LORD. ‘When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.’ [John 13:12-14 ESV]
I lift the disabled, those suffering from PTSD, so-called mentally retarded, autistic, and other handicapped children, the medical professionals, and primary caregivers to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each caregiver with endurance and grace and that YOU motivate medical professionals and administrators to support the needs of the disabled, those suffering from PTSD, so-called mentally retarded, autistic, and other handicapped children and their caregivers, parents and guardians. I pray that YOU bless each individual who has been diagnosed with PTSD and/or other mental afflictions with HOPE in YOU. ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.’ [Jeremiah 29:11-13 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
