Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. The sun is shining...
As a therapist I deal with other people's problems a lot. So much of how well they deal with them, depends on their attitude about them. How serious are they about solving it? Are they negatively or positively focused? Some people seem to enjoy being in the negative most of the time while others look for silver linings. We all have problems, but do we feed them or do we starve them?
I like to feed my gratitude and starve my problems.

I love your analogy Ma'am; the root cause of problems is far more critical than the bark of a tree, because a barking dog is less dangerous than a biting dog.

Lt Col Charlie Brown, solving complex problems was my forte; however, these days I try a more simplified approach.

I expect that you are an inspiration to many others from your family members through fellow service members and veterans based on your increasingly steadfast character. No doubt many have recognized your ability to be calm and rational in facing unforeseen problems and issues. I pray that you and I do our best to focus our creativity to encourage others and brings smiles as much as possible. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [Galatians 5:13-14 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for keen insight, good communication ability, and good listening skills for each of us as we lead those who depend on us and those who love us. I pray for genuine humility for each of us as we develop solutions and approaches to solve issues. LORD enable us to be more childlike and less selfish as we interact with those who we live with, work with, and whose path intersects with ours. ‘Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.’ [Proverbs 1:5-6 ESV]
I lift trustworthy, honest and capable elected officials, judges, and administrators throughout the nations to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless them with wisdom to solve the issues facing their community; endurance in doing good for those within their jurisdiction; sufficient patience and listening skills to hear what they need to hear; and selfless love to make decisions which are honorable and will bless many without hurting anyone. 'But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith.' [1 Timothy 6:11-12 ESV]
I lift the families, small-business owners, towns, counties and states which have been severely impacted by top-down decisions that disrupted their communities to YOU LORD. From the Federal energy decisions/executive orders/regulation changes through the opening of the southwest border resulting in an influx of migrants which is in danger of overwhelming support capabilities, law enforcement; and an increased risk of contagious disease increase, many are being challenged to function well. I pray that YOU bless the local through state decision makers with insight to develop solutions and ranges of approaches to the complex problems facing them. 'do not be anxious about anything ... by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts. [Phil 4:6-7 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Sunday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Sunday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Eagle’s Nest” in Castle Rock, CO! — 14 March 2021!!

Today’s Message is: “Problem Day!” Why Not?

"No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it." - Albert Einstein

"A problem is only a problem if you refuse to look for a solution. If you don't take action to fix it then it will remain a problem." - Catherine Pulsifer

"Whatever the problem we have in our life, someone has faced it and overcome it." - David DeNotaris

"Anger is natural; it is how you manage that is what counts and mismanaged anger is what causes problems, is highly unproductive and is not healthy, either for you or for those around you." - James Seals, Anger: Natural Treatments To Manage Frustration And Stress

"To solve a problem or to reach a goal, you don't need to know all the answers in advance. But you must have a clear idea of the problem or the goal you want to reach." - W. Clement Stone

"I think we have to look much deeper than that if we are to find the real cause of man's problems and the real cause of the world's ills today. If we are to really find it I think we will have to look in the hearts and souls of men." - Martin Luther King Jr., Rediscovering Lost Values

We all have problems of one type of another, but remember this...

“Great leaders have problem-solving skills that inspire others to come up with the most creative solutions. All leaders face and embrace complex challenges with confidence and courage!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Einstein's “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” —
This summarizes most of military leadership and government leaders; do as I say seems to be today's mantra. Accountability and humility- I try to always focus on my blessings and am aware that I alone created a vast majority of my problems. Blessed Sunday RP
