Good morning Col Burroughs. I see your topic follows with the group tonight. They are sharing what works and what doesn't.
There is a quote that joy shared is doubled; sorrow shared is halved. That's not entirely true but it certainly goes a long way. We are social beings. We need to connect to survive. That is true physically, mentally and spiritually. This quarantine was a lesson in how being isolated is so destructive to human wellness.

I expect that you are spiritually mature enough to more readily share selflessly from abundance as well as more scarce resources. Hopefully you are becoming more transparent in sharing your experiences to others who are challenged by similar experiences. I also expect that you may well be kind to strangers who cross your path. ‘Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.’ Hebrews 13:2 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray dear LORD that each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer is sincerely grateful to YOU for our personal salvation. LORD I pray that YOU use each of us to demonstrate faith in YOU throughout our days and nights. Empower us to share freely what we have learned in life and WHOM we have faith in. 'giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.' [Colossians 1:12 ESV]
I lift the destitute, the homeless, those afflicted with influenza, SARS-CoV-2, mental disease and serious injuries to YOU. I pray that YOU provide comfort to each one. I prat that YOU motivate and lead individuals to share with them and in turn receive wisdom and lessons learned from the afflicted.
I lift the financially affluent and the powerful to YOU. In this topsy-turvy world the benighted look to the rich and powerful and envy them as though they are trouble free. Many of the poorest by worldly standards are content with their lot in life, willing to share what they have with strangers and grateful for their personal relationship with God. ‘And he told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.”’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.” [Luke 12:6-21 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ

Good “Thursday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the cool crystal clear skies of the Greater Boston Area! Currently 53° with 49% humidity and winds WNW 17 mph...and it is not going to get to 60° today... Our first real Fall day... I am working my IT shift this morning and headed to the VA for a Drs. appt., so mostly off RP today... I'll have a great deal of catch up tomorrow, Mike! LOL!

“Sharing Day!” Why Not?

1) "When somebody shares, everybody wins." - Jim Rohn

2) "Let your light shine. Be a source of strength and courage. Share your wisdom. Radiate love." - Wilferd Peterson

3) "Seek to share joy with others, or to make somebody else happy, and you will find your own soul radiant with the joy you wished for another." - David O. McKay

4) "The choice facing the nation is between two totally different ways of life. And what a prize we have to fight for: no less than the chance to banish from our land the dark, divisive clouds of Marxist socialism and bring together men and women from all walks of life who share a belief in freedom." - Margaret Thatcher

5) "We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity." - Paulo Coelho

“Warriors for Life (WFL) ‘Peer-to-Peer’ Group Support was founded on the concept of ‘Sharing and Caring!’ Sharing your trauma with individuals who’ve have similar experiences; and caring for each other during that exchange with support and encouragement; building a strong bond.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
