I expect that as a military veteran you served the nation in peace and war honorably. No doubt that you have demonstrated selfless service to those you served with. ‘For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.’ [Galatians 5:13 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
I lift the homeless veterans and family members, those suffering PTSD/TBI and other mental afflictions, the veterans who are hospitalized, and those veterans and family members in hospice to YOU, LORD. I pray for an outpouring of compassion and love to each one of these people by members of the body of Christ in close proximity and outpoured prayers from intercessors.
I pray for peace in this nation, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Israel, India, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, and Japan. I pray that police and state and Federal agents are getting respect as they work with the citizens of the constituencies, they are responsible for protecting. I pray LORD that YOU protect the EMT, medical triage, and police first responders from any radicals who are focused on violence against them or those they are caring for. ‘Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away! Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them! For without cause they hid their net for me; without cause they dug a pit for my life. Let destruction come upon him when he does not know it! And let the net that he hid ensnare him; let him fall into it—to his destruction! [psalm 35:5-8 ESV]
I pray the families of veterans and service members are cared for well by those who serve/served. I pray for respect and honor to be extended and received throughout the year.
