I expect that you periodically take time to pause, reevaluate your focus and goals, and remember good and bad times. Hopefully you remember how the LORD has blessed you and those you love over the years. I expect that you may, like me, take time to record significant events including how and when the LORD answered your earnest prayers. ‘And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” ‘And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.” Mark 9:28-29 ESV] my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. I lift up each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters whose life has been put on pause by the death of loved ones and/or the disappearance of loved ones including MIA. LORD I pray that YOU enable each one to grieve properly. I pray that YOU put an angelic wall of protection around these grieving people and that YOU free as many of the sex-trafficked, kidnapped and the imprisoned MIA. ‘Shake yourself from the dust and arise; be seated, O Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. As far as the looter, rioters and those who support them morally and financially. ‘But first I will doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.” [Jeremiah 16:18] As far as BLM, socialists, Antifa and anarchists and those who support them including George Soros who are focused on destroying the value of the family and doing their best to undermine trust ‘Can man make for himself gods? If God offered you a choice to take to avoid the repercussions of one or more bad decisions, have you paused to think about what you would do if you were in King David’s place [2 Samuel 24] to atone for his sinful decision: business or family warfare [widespread damage – one or more decades to recover], prison [10 years or more], bankruptcy [impacts 7 years], disease to impact those you love and who depend on you.
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Sunday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
