LORD I lift grieving widows, widowers, and orphans to YOU – especially those who became widows, widowers, orphans recently. I pray that YOU bless each one with surprises of abundant joy in the midst of their grief during this Christmas season and throughout the coming year. ‘for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part’ [2 Corinthians 8:2 ESV]
I pray dear LORD for the police officers and agents on duty, deployed service members on duty, EMT and medical triage personnel throughout the nations and their family members and loved ones. Bless as many as YOU are willing with eternal security in relationship with YOU. I pray that none of them will die or be killed outside of personal relationship with YOU. Each one of these individuals including family members are acting in faith many in faith in YOU and others in faith in doing their duty. ‘For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. YOU are the God of hope and the deliverer of individuals and nations in YOUR perfect timing.
