Wow SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Of course a DNC staffer would blow a gasket from this news release.
Here is a response I posted earlier this morning on a similar subject.
Transgender wasn't a real issue a generation ago while sexual dysfunction has been around for various physical and psychological reasons in service members and veterans at least for a century. and probably since ancient times.
1. The most important aspect is that the US Government is repenting from recruiting transgender people by design which the former Obama administration embarked on.
2. The POTUS Trump administration is most likely eliminating the unfunded mandate to modify public restrooms and showers across the nation in schools and local and state government facilities based on modifications to title Ix definitions that were "snuck in" in a bureaucratic maneuver last administration.
3. The former Obama administration pushed for expanding all roles to women, recruiting transgender people into the military; modifying Title IX which is a comprehensive federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity; and pushing school districts into unfunded mandates to modify rules and facilities to accommodate an unspecified number of potential transgender winnable students.
4. Each administration needs to count the cost and determine which policies it wants to embrace in keeping with the philosophy and vision of the POTUS.
5. The old order and era of Obama has ended.
I hope and pray for wisdom for the leadership of this nation as they move forward.
I hope that when the dust clears, those service members who went through gender reassignment surgery.
