Thanks for reminding us SP5 Mark Kuzinski that on December 15, 1965 U.S. Navy carrier-based propeller-driven Douglas A-1 Skyraider and the jet-powered Douglas A-3 Skywarrior planes destroy a thermal power plant at Uong Bi, 14 miles north of Haiphong in the first raid on a major North Vietnamese industrial target.
