Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that December 5 is the anniversary of the birth of American entrepreneur, animator, voice actor and film producer Walter Elias Disney.
Walt Disney was a wonderful and humble man who brought so much entertainment to children and families.
I well remember watching him on TV as he introduced his show in the early 1960's.
Rest in peace Walter Elias Disney!
Here is a wonderful birthday tribute to Walter Elias Disney on his 114th birthday anniversary The song featured from Mary Poppins, "Feed the Birds," which was said to be his favorite song.
Song written by: Robert and Richard Sherman

Growing up as a kid, we couldn't wait for Sunday night when the Disney show came on, or on Saturday to watch the Mickey Mouse Club.

I have thought about that a few times since they bought ESPN. I think once the original idea is realized there is a free for all to make a much money as possible. I somehow do not think that was his motive LTC Greg Henning
