Well duhhhh, but seriously, anyone who can read and comprehend has known that the mask people are wearing are of little to no use against the virus. Cloth and paper mask don't offer the filtration needed to block a virus as well as usually being ill fitting that can either let in or our what ever you are trying to block. Surgical mask were made to stop spit or moisture droplets from Dr.'s and nurses from entering a open body cavity or a patient during surgery, not to offer a defense against biological agents.
I have worked in construction for over 34 years, and have also been OSHA certified for jobsite safety for a time, but working in some very dusty environments I can tell you that even the N95 fails, and is probably one of the reasons OSHA now requires dust collection for cutting and breaking concrete. Even wearing the best fitting N95 mask while in a area where drywall dust is created you find out soon that it looses it's seal often and it's not long before your mucus in your nose is full is white powder, so if drywall dust which is greatly larger than a virus is getting in how well do you think it is at stopping a virus?

Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for posting the perspective from frontpagemag.com contributing author David Horowitz

The CDC is considering changing mask guidance

"If you want to wear a mask — do it — but don’t expect it to 100% save you from the virus. The virus, being so small and static, is unable to propel itself outward from someone so it attaches itself to an oxygen or carbon dioxide molecule when breathing. These two molecules, individually, are (0.0003 micron) in size. These molecules easily pass through the “N95” mask – said to be the best on the market – as the wearer can breathe while wearing one.
These oxygen and carbon dioxide molecules, as published, are “1000 times smaller than the pore size of the N95 mask”. Considering that, the pore size of the N95 mask would be (1000 times 0.0003 micron = 0.300 micron) in size.
It’s also published that the average size of the virus is (0.125 micron). Since the virus attaches itself to an oxygen or carbon dioxide molecule that’s expelled from someone breathing, adding those together, that gives us a size of (0.0003 micron plus 0.125 micron = 0.1253 micron).
Now, ask yourself, would a virus, attached to an oxygen or carbon dioxide molecule and being (0.1253 micron) in combined size, pass thru an N95 mask with a pore size of (0.300 micron)? If you’ve had any math, the answer seems obvious. Adding all three together side by side, oxygen molecule, carbon dioxide molecule and the virus, would be (0.0003 plus 0.0003 plus 0.125 = 0.1256 micron). This is an alarming proposition for any mask. Given the option, I’d vote for “distancing.”

"The COVID quacks were wrong about everything. Let’s take a quick trip through their latest blunders, shall we?
They were wrong about masks. They finally admitted the cloth masks they’d been telling everybody to wear for two years are worthless and everybody should wear N95 masks. They’re wrong about that, too. N95 masks cause higher carbon dioxide levels, cognitive impairment, headaches, cardio-pulmonary stress, and even fatal heart attacks."

The best solution is to get outdoors in the fresh air, away from close contact with others and take off you masks and breathe.

The simple fact is that is this case masks are of very little use. In order to be effective PPE must be properly fitted and operated correctly. How many in the public do you see that fall into this category?

Any barrier is going to have an impact however you are 100% correct that people do not understand how to don and doff PPE and for many all this PPE could make them more susceptible. My favorite is to watch people with gloves touch everything including their face and the gloves probably gives them a false sense of security with rubbing their face. Where people place their masks when not wearing is another great one to then see them don them again.
