If there was one inescapable takeaway from the midterm elections, it was this: Abortion is a losing issue for Republicans.
Despite reams of historical evidence suggesting November 2022 was going to produce a "red wave," Democrats racked up dramatic wins, seizing state and federal offices and retaining control of the Senate. Much of the post-election data on why was messy— except when it came to abortion. On that issue, study after study showed that support for abortion rights after the overturn of Roe v. Wade in June was a major — and often deciding — factor. The implicit political advice to Republicans couldn't be clearer: Back off the draconian abortion restrictions. They've done no such thing, however.

WOW...that's what the left is going withnow...we despise women. That's Freaking rich! That's anew narrative. That is a redherring to distract folks from the real issue we are against...MURDER. It isn't about womans health issues...it straight up about murdering an innocent human being that was created that cannot speak for itself. Geez this despising women thing is absolutely ludacris!!!

There are no facts to back up your supposition about men getting pregnant and abortions...you don't know what would happen because that is a moot point...it can't happen...so dead issue.
Abortion is not always healthcare. If it is endangering the mother and she could die then ok, that is condiered health care...but to just go get pregnant and kill a baby cause it is cramping your lifestyle is wrong....just murder. BTW it is tissue with a heartbeat!

I know that Salon has a far-left bias, but do the editors really believe the headline tags they put out? Really?
So the ~132 million people in the US that identify as "pro-life" hate women? What about the
~140 million that believe it should be legal but not in all cases - do they only partially despise women? How about the ~38 million Democrats that believe it should be illegal in all/most cases? Well, since they are Salon's audience, I guess they don't hate women ... maybe they only mildly dislike them.

Isn't that like saying the pro-abortion advocates are racist because blacks are aborted at a rate 300% higher than average (39% of abortions are by black individuals vs being only 12.6% of the US population)?
I mean, I just saw a post saying that the IRS algorithms for auditing the earned income tax credit (EITC) are racist because they audit blacks at twice the amount that claim the EITC, so that must be the case since this is even higher.
Now, I don't believe that pro-choice individuals are all racist but on the other hand I don't believe that pro-life individuals don't give a damn about kids after they are born either.

I expect you understand that the term ‘abortion’ refers to a miscarriage - which is similar to a miscarriage of justice.
Anybody whose spouse or girlfriend has experienced a miscarriage has first-hand knowledge of the grief in brings to a mother-to-be who desires a child.
I do not know of any pro-life individual who is anti-female
The term induced abortion, otherwise known by euphemisms termination of pregnancy or, choice is a man-made extermination of a budding human life inside a womb. As far as anti-woman, in China, India, and many Muslim nations female creations of life in the womb, are often terminated since men are preferred over women in those cultures. In those cultures, involuntary abortions are performed by the government authorities.
