Thank you my friend TSgt Joe C. for reminding us that on May 19, 1536, the very tragic event that the mother of future queen Elizabeth 1 Anne Boleyn wife of Henry the VIII was beheaded ion May 19, 1536.

King Henry VIII was notorious for his hubris.
The six women who were married to Henry VIII were, in chronological order:
1. Catherine of Aragon (marriage annulled, died while detained under guard at Kimbolton Castle, mother of Mary I) (married 1509–1533),
2. Anne Boleyn (marriage annulled, then beheaded, mother of Elizabeth I) (married 1533 to 1536)
3. Jane Seymour (died twelve days after giving birth to Edward VI, believed to be caused by birth complications) (married 1536–1537),
4. Anne of Cleves (marriage annulled, outlived the rest of the wives) married 1540),
5. Catherine Howard (beheaded) (married 1540–1542)
6. Catherine Parr (widowed at death of Henry VIII, remarried to Thomas Seymour) (married Henry VIII on 12 July 1543 until Henry VIII died on January 28, 1547)

Since Anne Boleyn could not produce a son he shunned her and courted Catherine of Aragorn. When she did nit not deliver an heir he divorced her and separated from the Roman Catholic church and started the Church of England
It is interesting that the royal wedding Prince Harry and his actress bride Meghan Markle at the medieval chapel at Windsor Castle that 39 English kings and queens have called home since 1066 occurred on the anniversary of the date that Anne Boleyn wife of Henry the VIII was beheaded in 1536.
