Thanks for reminding us that despite valiant efforts to keep Cambodia out of the conflict in southeast Asia, combat frequently happened in the border areas as the communists exploited every opportunity to move forces and materiel along the border areas SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
Body count was important for some reason to be tracked each night. After the war there was much criticism of that policy.
Now in the campaign against ISIS we never see body count but we do see equipment, weapons, infrastructure destroyed or damaged numbers and have see units attacked numbers.
