Lt Col Charlie Brown I wouldn't want to teach in a district like this.

As a repentant HR wienie who knows that businesses spend millions every year jumping through EEOC hoops, I ask Where is state and federal leadership on these blatant Title VII violations?

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Nice try Jack. Using a left leaning organization that references left of Lenin "fact checkers" such as WaPo and Politifact to assess credibility. It would be more effective to take the article apart line by line (or assertion by assertion) and demonstrate the author is incorrect.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Are you saying that wikipedia is a legitimate source? They lean too left for me If you want to know what the left is up to, it's what they accuse the right of doing.

Thank you my conservative fellow northern Virginia friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting the perspective from the DailyWire [which I am also subscribed to] focused on the deplorable news that Fairfax County, Virginia schools tell children of military members that they have ‘Privilege' as an insult.

Fairfax Schools Tells Children of Military Parents Their Privileged
Schools in Fairfax County got children playing BINGO to acknowledge their privilege.

"In September, school board member Abrar Omeish, whose father was on the board of the mosque attended by 9/11 hijackers and hired as imam a top Al-Qaeda operative, forcefully opposed a resolution honoring the victims of the attacks on their 20th anniversary."

Assistant Fairfax Superintendent Douglas A. Tyson stated "The screen shot you reference comes from an approved FCPS English Curriculum lesson that is centered around students selecting a “choice” test and examining in detail the author’s perspective on a wide-range [sic] of issues. Students are asked, in the lesson, to read critically and think critically about the author’s perspective on several fronts including the author’s privilege that may or may not be present in the work. Students are then asked independently and self reflectively to juxtapose their thoughts regarding any perceived privilege they think they may have and how they would potentially rewrite portions of the text. Students are not asked or required to report out their self-reflections. This lesson is an adept vehicle to push student thinking to challenge the author’s thoughts/conclusions and to sharpen their ability to critically read selected texts."

"On his first day in office Saturday, new Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) issued an executive order that bans “inherently divisive concepts” that presume “that some students are consciously or unconsciously racist, sexist, or oppressive, and that other students are victims. This denies our students the opportunity to gain important facts, core knowledge, formulate their own opinions, and to think for themselves. Our children deserve far better from their education than to be told what to think.”
The order only applies to state curriculum and actions from the Virginia Department of Education and does not dictate what individual school districts teach. But it also specifies that it is only the “first step on Day One,” and it casts treating people differently based on race as a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, an indication that school districts who continue to promulgate such content could soon stand accused of violating the act.'

Let's hope they nail those who promulgate this crap being passed off as history instead of the indoctrination that it truly is.

The Socialists, the Fascists, the Communists, the jihadists and the Democrats know that you have to reach the children early to indoctrinate them. You teach them to hate themselves, to hate their family/parents, to hate their country, and they will do everything in their power to change that. Conservative people need to be teaching the kids to love their country, love their family, love themselves (in the positive way, not the narcistic way) and to think critically, and to understand actual history. There are good and bad things in history, but both can be learned from. There are some teachers out there, that do, but they have to be quiet about it, or they will be removed.
