Thanks for reminding us SP5 Mark Kuzinski that Cambodia was not a secure nation despite all the efforts made in prior decades by Norodom Sihanouk as the King of Cambodia from 1941 to 1955. The communists ravaged Cambodia from inside eh nation via the ruthless Khmer Rouge and sometimes from the Pathet Lao up north and the NVA and VC from the east.
The struggles during the Vietnam War period paled in comparison to the Killing Fields period of Pol Pot.
After the communists were defeated Norodom Sihanouk became King of Cambodia again from 1993 to 2004.
