I never do Starbucks in the morning. They take much too long to get the stuff done while making fru-fru beverages.

I never go to a Starbucks, its like battery acid instead I'll go to places with regular people such as Dunkin Donuts or local coffee shops. Every Thursday morning though my ritual is going to the American Legion Post 208,Millis, MA where We have a coffee social time for any Armed Forces Veteran. You don't have to be a Legion member, just a Veteran. That something We do every Thursday all year round. We also have huge great muffins to eat that are donated by a local business and have been for at leas the last two years.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter I am a Legion member. I never go. There is nothing of interest happening there.
I prefer Dunk in but my hubby is a Starbucks guy. The sacrifices we make for love, lol

Lt Col Charlie Brown - A number of the Legion Post have failed but ours, Post 208, Millis, MA is still an active post. We do have social function, trips, guess speakers for example one was the lead pilot on the Son Toy POW Rescue mission into North Vietnam, and another a forward deployed Doctor in support of a Special Forces Group in the Mid East. The Doctor's Brigade Commander also came with Him and spoke. Of course the coffee I mention every Thursday but that entirely social. I have spent six terms as Post Commander (which is the Post record) there were gaps between them, I seem to keep coming returning to that post it seems. I'm also a Member of AMVETS Post 495 in Millis, MA also

Thank you my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the uplifting parody-song about my favorite hot beverage which is coffee. To be honest I prefer Black Dog Coffee to Starbucks :-)
"Sounds of Starbucks" performed by Tim Hawkins
Lyrics
"[Verse 1]
Hello, coffee, my old friend
I've come to order you again
I hear the grinding of espresso beans
I need a double shot of pure caffeine
And the indie band on the speaker soothes my brain, so I'll remain
Within the sounds of Starbucks

[Verse 2]
Tried to brew my own at home
But felt so quiet and alone
I'll need to be up in the morning rush
Where the leather chairs are soft and plush
And I'll drink a grande cappuccino with a pumpkin scone and charge my phone
Listen to the sounds of Starbucks

[Verse 3]
Then I heard an awful scream
They had totes run out of cream
A new employee spilled the coffee grounds
And the W-Fi went completely down
And the lady in yoga pants threw her latte at the wall, the cops were called
Then came the sound of sirens

[Verse 4]
In the drive-through lane I saw
A thousand hipsters, maybe more
People paying without drinking
People waiting, they were all freaking
People going off 'cause they couldn't get a carmel frappe, holy crap
A riot started at Starbucks

[Verse 5]
While a Bible study prayed
Baristas formed a barricade
The manager cried out a warning
To the angry mob that was forming
And he said, "I checked Google Maps. There's another one across the street," so we stampede
And return to the sounds of Starbucks"

A-2 (Ann Arbor). Had their Art Fair every year... a shop next door didn’t open until 2 in the afternoon..
So a bud and I sat at one of the tables that establishment had. I had my Black Rifle Coffee growler and cup and the bud had a BRC cup also and we’re watching the stragglers checking out the art. A manager came out from SB and said we had to move along.. “This. Isn’t your store, have you got a power of attorney?” I inquired.. he said he didn’t need one.. So we continued drinking coffee and eating donuts... had a nice audience gathering ... The guy went back in and the woman mgr
Came out.. “I just called the police, so you need to vacate... you’re bothering my business...” and she left... we seen the police car moving slowly up the side street..
“Time to go Mark, the constables are here!” So we gathered up the growler and thermos cups.. and moved on.. by time they got around the corner we were up the street a half block well, late again !
The SB manager came out the store again... she seen us and pointed...
they did a u-turn and pulled up by us “ you were sitting at the closed restsurant?” He asked....”we were”.. “did she ask you to stay until we arrived?” “No sir,she didn’t”. My bud replied... “how’s tha BRC?”
Asked one of the officers. “I think it’s really good, better than SB’s!”
I replied. I gave him a BRCC card with the link and a code.. “They got a thin blue line coffee, try that. The coupon gives you 15%” I told him..
and we moved on ... Mark told me; “that SB boss is really p.o.’d now !”
We went around for a couple hours.. coffee’s gone, time to go!
We went back by the Sb shop and seen that boss,.she seen us too..
My truck was only a block away...
we’d paid $3 to park... we got back
It was $8.. inflation... yup... I passed out some BRCC coupon cards not far from the SB shop..
It was a decent day... considering ..
