Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse on this sunny but cold Tuesday morning. I heard this song again yesterday and it seemed the perfect response to your post this morning. More to come.

I believe in the inner voice. Some people don't like it because it sometimes tells you not to do something or not to trust a particular person. Mine has rarely steered me wrong. Mine seems to be a cross between reading non-verbals of others, conscience, spirit and a sense of rightness.
What is your inner voice?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Awesome response today brother. Like you, my inner voice has been taking good care of me and I've used it when the time is right and needed... Thanks for the additiional quotes Charlie... We are supposed to get 2 feet of now this weekend - my inner voice is telling me to prepare the snowblower very soon (lol)...

“Over time as you continue to build and enhance your character you also build your inner voice. The deep understanding of your character will become your inner voice that will lead your decisions and how you carry yourself as an individual. ‘Don’t shush your inner voice. It’s who you really are.’ – Unknown Author. May your inner voice guide down path and trails yet traveled with wisdom, experience, and confidence; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Believe in yourself and let your inner voice guide you.” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that your inner voice is aligned with the Holy Spirit and that HE is transforming you as HE renews your mind in HIS perfect timing. I expect you have a deeper understanding of yourself in this COVID risk season and post-inauguration of POTUS Joe Biden. No doubt your reflections on these events has prompted you to come to grips with hopes, dreams, and fears for those you love and depend on you. ‘Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.’ [Romans 12:2 ESV] my sister-in-Christ

I lift parents, grandparents, single parents, guardians and others caring for children to YOU LORD. Since many states, cities, and town school districts are not open to in-school teaching in any meaningful sense, I pray that those adults taking care of children are working to help the children learn as much as they can at home. Hopefully many parents and guardians have looked into home school curriculums and made decisions to home school their children using Christian Home School curriculums. ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ [Proverbs 22:6 ESV]
I pray for courage and trustworthiness for deployed service members, police men and women, investigators, EMT personnel, medical triage and infectious disease specialists and other focused on defending our nation and protecting citizens, visitors, and others as well as their family members to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each with endurance in doing good, sufficient strength to perform their duties, and moral courage to stand up for what is right, noble and true. 'Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoiced in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. [Romans 5:2-5 ESV]
I pray for widows, widowers, individuals terminated from energy positions, societal outcasts and those who depend on them or support their needs. I pray that YOU guide individuals with time, talent, treasure and good listening skills to come alongside those who are lonely and in need of fellowship. ‘Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.’ [James 1:2-4 ESV]
I pray for an increase of peace and sufficient law and order on the southwest border of the USA as the migrants are doing their best to cross into the USA at the invitation of POTUS Joe Biden. I pray for the good Samaritans providing assistance to migrants and volunteers helping Customs and Border patrol deal with the significant increase of migrants attempting to cross into the USA via Texas. ‘For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. “Upon a watchtower I stand, O Lord, continually by day, and at my post I am stationed whole nights.’ [Isaiah 6, 8 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Tuesday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

COL Mikel Burroughs good read/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THEIR EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICENT on this day March 9, 2021 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of April. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am full-time DOD employee doing contracts for the Defense Contracting Management Agency. It is good to have some time to respond my friend.

Today’s Message is: “Inner Voice Day!” Why Not? I quote, “There us always one true inner voice. Trust it.” — Gloria Steinem

Good “Tuesday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the still chilly winds of SW Florida...but warming up toward the end of the week... We may get into the low 70s this afternoon...

It is: “Inner Voice Day!” What is your "Inner Voice" telling you?

"Your mind knows only some things. Your inner voice, your instinct, knows everything. If you listen to what you know instinctively, it will always lead you down the right path." - Henry Winkler

"You must trust yourself more than you trust others. Pay attention to your inner voice - it will tell you if how and in what you are investing is right for you." - Suze Orman

"When you're following your inner voice, doors tend to eventually open for you, even if they mostly slam at first." - Kelly Cutrone

"Intuition goes before you, showing you the way. Emotion follows behind, to let you know when you go astray. Listen to your inner voice. It is the calling of your spiritual GPS system seeking to keep you on track towards your true destiny." - Anthon St. Maarten

"If you have some idea you believe in, don't listen to the croaking chorus. Listen only to what your own inner voice tells you." - Dale Carnegie

"Somewhere, right at the bottom of one’s own being, one generally does know where one should go and what one should do. But there are times when the clown we call “I” behaves in such a distracting fashion that the inner voice cannot make its presence felt." - Carl Jung

Okay, so we know that our inner voice is something we should listen to but sometimes do not... Remember that...

“Leadership is about character. A leader over time will have a deep understanding of themselves and the people they lead. That character and understanding will become an inner voice that will guide their decisions and behavior. Nurture and take good care of that inner voice!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
